I actually purchased two umbrellas in a single order--one blue and one gray. They were easy to assemble and they provide a large shady area for your hammock, lounge chairs, or outdoor buffet table. They do NOT come with a weighted base (this is clearly noted and options for weights are available), but to be clear, they DO COME with a base. The base is basically a 3', lower-case-t, cross that is adequate to support an open umbrella, but would not stand up to much of a breeze and it easily knocked over. When I was assembling one, I destroyed a part of the stand. I wrote to the company directly to buy a replacement part and they shipped me a new part at no cost. The damage was completely my fault and they still went out of their way to ensure I was happy with my purchase. If only other companies were so customer-focused. I do recommend these umbrellas.
