This umbrella is huge and the price is excellent. It functions well and could possibly make it through the season. Monitoring the wind and family as either one could definitely bring the end without warning. This is an incredible deal and used carefully can last. Base not included so attachment to your deck is the easiest solution. I recommend this product for anyone budget minded with the need for shadeWhen it comes to using this umbrella, all I needed was a base, which I already had that I used with my old umbrella. The patio table that I have already has a cutout in the middle that this umbrella fit inside of perfectly. When it comes to using my base, I have metal screws that help tighten it and center it. I had no issues with this umbrella fitting inside. Once the screws on tight, I opened this umbrella and moved it around. Not only is it big enough to cover my table but it really does protect us from the sun. The umbrella does have a crank, our other one didn't have one, but really does make it convenient to open and close. Another thing I love about this umbrella, is when the sun is moving, we're able to tilt this umbrella to make sure we're always covered and protected from the sun. We did get some bird poop on it but all we had to do was hit it with a hose and it was clean again. Even with being out in the sun, this fabric has shown no signs of fading or even becoming weak.I still can't believevwhat a bargain this was! It is very well made/sturdy. It was VERY easy to assemble (and I'm no pro). The size, color, quality, ease of use and overall look are fantastic. If I had another deck, I'd buy another one in a second. I am very impressed. TY!I decided to ancho to cement slab. The frat section of tube just sits There. Not fixed. The umbrella is deployed and it almost hits a regular table. But it will work for now/this season.It was "moderately" easy to put together. It does have roller wheels if you want to move it around. I didn't. I wanted it stable, so went to the extra trouble of laying out a concrete slab for it with stabilizer eye-hooks. That's probably overkill for most folks, but this is windy ole Oklahoma, and the size can be a little unstable. That said, this is the perfect fit for my patio (see photo). I wanted a cantilever AND a tilting umbrella and this does both. It is a hugely successful and beautiful addition to our back patio, making it totally useable again in the summertime evening.The umbrella was easy to install, a bit heavy, but good quality. It has a lock to adjust how open the extension i want and how high it stops by lifting or sliding it down. It also has a flexible arm tilt to adjust its angle with the sunlight moving. The umbrella is big enough when it’s fully opened, and it seems UV protective. It does come with a cross bass, but not heavy enough to stable the umbrella, I have to use two heavy patio blocks to keep it from tipping. Anyway, it is a great umbrella and I am happy with it.I needed a new patio umbrella for my table at the pool. I am very pleased with this one. It's very durable and made from good canvas materials. It was easy to put together. I had it together in about 15 minutes. I like that it has a handle you turn to open and close it. It turns so easy. It tilts to which way you need it to keep the sun out. This umbrella is so sturdy and very durable. I sitting outside and the wind started blowing and the umbrella didnt move. It stayed locked in and didnt fall in like most do. I'm very pleased with this and I highly recommend it. Well worth the price.Have not used yet but am sure will be v happy with it
