I purchased this umbrella even though it was more costly than some others because I was looking for quality. It was used on our deck for two summers, and was rarely left up, and was stored inside for fall, winter, and spring. After just that short amount of time, the bolt inside attached to the crank broke in half. This must be a regular occurrence because when searching for a replacement crank, I came across a video by Fiberbuilt showing how to replace the crank. I emailed the company asking how to get a replacement crank, but they never responded. I would not recommend buying anything made by them.Can no longer tilt because a brittle part fractured. Used less than 50 times over three months. Was not used with excessive winds. Used often on a deck with a slight to moderate sea breeze.Nice concept, inferior engineering. Needs higher quality components for tilt mechanism and handle crank (getting cranky; next failure?) Good luck.Great price on a great umbrella!Supposedly the diameter of this item is 7.5 feet which would corredpond to 228 cm, in reality the diameter is only 6.5 or 200 cm.I was able to use the base I already had. It's a dark rich blue, looks black late in the day & early morning.broke in half at the first good wind gust. I only got a month of use from it. Very disappointing.This umbrella is everything it was advertised to be. We love it!I have a lot of them a very good product! and I will keep buying!
